Numerology 101 - Life Path Number

Finding your life path number

Numerology is another vast subject and there is so much of it that I have yet to learn myself. When I first learned about numerology, I was guided to this YouTube channel by Astro Finesse. (Astro Finesse YouTube page) I really dig his presentation and his energy, so I always like to go back to see what he says first. So many times lately, the subject of numerology seems to come up in conversations I am having with friends and new people I meet. It only seems proper to share some of the information I have been able to gather. There is a plethora of information out there. I created this quick reference guide. I am excited to hear what everyone finds out about themselves!!

SO, the first thing that you have to learn in numerology is your life path number! It is calculated by adding up your full birthday, and then continuing to add the numbers together, reducing it to a single digit (unless it is a 11, 22 or 33). What does that mean?

For example, say Jimmy’s birthday is June 27, 1991. To make that into a math equation, it would be 6+2+7+1+9+9+1=35. You continue to add the number together, until you are able to reduce it to a single digit. So, 3+5=8 - Jimmy would be a Life Path 8!

When I first calculated my Life Path number, I did not realize that if your numbers were 11, 22, or 33, that you did not reduce those to a single digit. It was sometime later down the road I did learn that information, but I never went back to check my calculations. I absolutely resonated with being a Life Path 6 so why would I go back and check?! (hah)

It was one day that I was helping a new friend from Pakistan try to figure out his life path number did I realize. I typed it out for my friend:

My birthday is October 29, 1983 or 1+0+2+9+1+9+8+3=33 (!).

It was in that moment as I was sharing with him that it hit me that I was actually a Life Path 33 and not a 6! As I leaned into the research of what it meant to be a Life Path 33, I found out why I also resonated with my previous conclusion of being a Life Path 6, it is still my core number!
